ONYX COMMUNICATIONS.

MARKETING JUST GOT FUN.

During my time at Onyx Communications, I gained hands-on experience managing social media and designing marketing materials for a range of clients. I had the opportunity to run the Instagram accounts for six different spas, learning how to tailor content and engage with unique audiences. I also created marketing collateral for local real estate groups, including quarterly flyers for Cusick Group and newspaper ads for Caniglia Group. This role helped me understand the importance of consistency in branding and how to adapt visual communication styles across different industries.

In addition to social media management and design work, I collaborated in-studio with my boss and colleagues, gaining valuable insight into content strategy and reel creation based on current trends and market behavior. One of the most rewarding projects was developing business cards for Summit Healthcare, a geriatric care facility. I participated in client meetings with the business owner and marketing manager to understand their goals and translate their vision into strategic branding. Overall, my time at Onyx helped strengthen both my creative and professional communication skills while exposing me to a diverse range of industries.

CANIGLIA GROUP

These newspaper ads for the Caniglia Group were designed with a bold, high-contrast layout using their signature green to draw attention to each listing.

Every ad includes a team photo and is built with a clear hierarchy, placing the Caniglia Group name as the most prominent element to reinforce brand recognition.

Each design balances visual appeal with strategic branding to ensure their listings stand out in print.

SUMMIT HEALTHCARE

These business cards for Summit Healthcare were designed with a focus on brand consistency and visual impact, drawing inspiration from the mountain element in their logo to create a bold, scalable symbol.

Gradients were carefully applied to highlight individual names, creating a sense of professionalism and hierarchy within each layout.

I conducted print studies throughout the process to ensure the final product accurately reflected Summit Healthcare’s brand colors and quality standards.

CUSICK GROUP

These “Hot Happenings” flyers for the Cusick Group were designed to reflect their strong connection to the Phoenix area, using their signature blue for a polished, cohesive look.

Each flyer highlights upcoming local events, tying the brand to the community and keeping content fresh and relevant.

The layouts also spotlight individual agents, allowing each team member to use the piece for personalized advertising and outreach.
